Allow me to introduce myself. I am Robert Whittaker,55 years old, living in Telford.Iwas for 2 years a teacher of PE and Geography at the Harris C of E School for 2 years,( academic years 1972/74). During the final Rubgy season 73/74 I had a superbly enjoyable time playing for the O.L.s.. I cannot remember all of the players, but some names that do sping to mind are Messers Watson ,Moore,Harris,New.Jones,Llewellyn...memory fades abit. As I live in Telford I do watch a number of their games although the O.L.s results are something that I always look for when reading the Sunday Times sport section, along with Leek ,which was my home town. This message is mainly aimed at Dave Watson. There was a mention of such a person in your superb web site. Is it the same one that I knew? To be continued....

I guess I was one of the team that you played on in the 73/74 season. That was a lot of fun and most of the names you mention are still around the club. I live in Vancouver, BC., but I'm going to be at the OL's for the last game of the season - April 23rd this year - along with Dave (Spanner) Hannah (who now lives in Calgary AB). It would be great to see you there. BTW, that was the same Dave Watson that played (on the odd occasion) for the 2nd team that year and I hear that he will also be at the game on the 23rd.
